About Me

Since childhood art has been "my thing". Give me some glitter and a glue gun and watch out world! I was in my element. After teaching elementary school for five years I became a stay-at-home mama to a darling girl, followed by another darling gal seventeen months later. Throughout my time at home I dabbled in handmade goods and photography and still have an enormous love and passion for both. I view my home as my biggest canvas. One particular day the desire to paint struck. I took an online painting course and haven't looked back since. I am a firm believe in the power of the positive. I blog at therosylife.blogspot.com all about finding the rosy in the routine. I believe in fairy-tales, imagination, rose-colored glasses, words and phrases, and the healing power of art. Color is my love language and my hope is that you'll leave my shop deeply encouraged.

I like to kick my country girl boots up on our farm and find my greatest inspiration through junk, chippy things, wildflowers, and vintage finds.

My mixed media canvases and prints are made with paint, found papers, my original photographs, and plenty of color.
